Elizabeth and Clive's
Lords of the Manor Wedding Photography

Elizabeth and Clive chose me for their Lords of the Manor wedding photography. The hotel itself, set in the most beautiful Cotswolds countryside, was perfect for them. Its relaxed and personal service allowed everyone to feel at home and part of an intimate gathering of friends and family. I tried my best to fit into the group and take informal, observational photos to record their day.

A beautiful urn of summer flowers created by Catherine Young of Rose and Grace Florists set the mood at the entrance to The Lords of the Manor Hotel.

The string quartet provided suitable music to keep the relaxed mood

A lovely photo of Elizabeth and her young bridesmaid both ready for the ceremony to come

Whilst we waited for Elizabeth to be interviewed by the registrar, there was time for a quick portrait outside.

Meanwhile, inside, Clive was preparing himself for the ceremony that was soon to start - together with his first glimpse of Elizabeth.

The vows were made, the register signed and finally, they had the certificate to say that they were married!

Delightful canap├ęs were served with the celebratory glass of fine champagne

Everyone gathered at the front of The Lords of the Manor for for a happy record of everyone who attended Elizabeth and Clive's special day.

A little later, we went for a quick stroll through the grounds and had chance to take a few portraits of just them. This is always a nice time to get a quiet moment to reflect on their day so far.

The delightful grounds of The Lords of the Manor Hotel were alive with colour in June, making it the perfect place for Clive and Elizabeth's wedding

The Speeches and Cutting the Cake

Clive clearly knows a good Champagne when he sees it! He also knows that it helps just before the speeches are due to make sure that everyone has a glass in hand!

After the speeches, my day was over and I left Elizabeth and Clive to enjoy the rest of their celebrations with family and friends as the day turned into a lovely June evening in a perfect corner of the beautiful Cotswolds.
