Cotswolds Wedding Photography

Lis and Simon's Cotswolds wedding photography at Dumbleton hall.

Although it was a winter wedding at Dumbleton Hall for Lis and Simon, the weather was really lovely. Each year, I have worked at Dumbleton Hall over the Christmas period and it has always been beautiful weather. As usual, it always seems better to prepare for the worst but hope for the best!

Lis and her two bridesmaids got ready in their hometown of Kidderminster. I met them at their hairdressers where not only hair, but make-up was being done.

Back at Lis' home, the girls put on their dresses. Lis being helped by Charmaine and Jenny and who, in return were given a lovely gift by Lis before they set off for Dumbleton. They had organised to travel in style in a vintage camper van.

Arrival at Dumbleton was followed by a visit to the registrar. It seems like a formality, but is something that's always good to have passed - and now they are able to get married!

Simon and his groomsmen were all sporting flat caps in an homage to the TV show, "Peaky Blinders". It was a very strong luck and made a great, strong theme to the wedding.

Simon looked relaxed enough but I knew that there were some nerves present. There is always the moment when the groom realises that the moment is about to arrive, when his bride will walk into the ceremony room.
